Dofin (Djambulat x Feride), a purebred Akhal Teke stallion, born 16.5.2015 in Russia. Height 163cm. Started training with late Mr. Viktor Vorosov at KSK Uspensky. Imported to Slovenia in 2020. He is an unbelievable multi-talent.
After arrival to Slovenia, he was used for personal amateur training and few small jumps, then used as breeding stallion for few years, until September 2023 when he was given to young rider Gašper Janez Ponikvar to start working with him. Few months later, Dofin went to first Showjumping competitions, and started accumulating striking placements and wins. His talent, speed and smart intuition has boosted him to always compete for first places, while still learning the skills of Showjumping.
As he was also showing really good Dressage skills, we have taken an opportunity to try him at Eventing competition nearby, where he fast forwarded and debuted immediately at A1 category with 2nd place. Soon after, he not only confirmed his top-performace capabilities but also won the 1st place in Cross Country.
This extremely versatile horse has also helped few beginners to pass their showjumping and dressage licenses.
Dofin is licensed at Elite category breeding stallion, and has sired several beautiful Akhal Teke foals, Including Helios.
At the European Akhal-Teke Championship 2024, held in Babolna – Hungary 12-14.7.2024, he was awarded by unanimous decision to be the best Sport prospect! At the same time, he also took 1st place in freejumping with 160cm jump which put him in a class of his own. Immediately after, he took 4th place in Dressage competition A6.
In September 2024, Dofin won a National Championship at A-level Eventing (Highest eventing level in Slovenia).
